Molecular basis of pathogenesis in SARS-CoV-2 infection

Abstract

The pandemic caused by the causal agent SARS-CoV-2 took by surprise the healthcare personnel and scientifics from all the world, in the present article it is reviewed the structural components, genome, infectious mechanism and pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 virus, we also describe pulmonary and extrapulmonary clinical aspects of COVID-19 disease.
