¿Por qué Escuchamos Música? Perspectivas Científicas sobre la Percepción Musical

Resumen

La escucha musical humana constituye una base perceptiva, es inherente al placer y disfrute estético, la producción de emociones musicales y establece vínculos sociales determinantes para crear patrones comportamentales culturalmente arraigados y definidos. El presente estudio aborda el campo de la escucha y la percepción musical a partir de la producción científica de alto impacto que gira sobre este campo del conocimiento. A partir de un abordaje metodológico a nivel bibliográfico y cienciométrico se aplican técnicas estadísticas y algunos de los principales indicadores de este enfoque. Los resultados establecen las principales temáticas, autores, países e instituciones que abordan a nivel científico la escucha musical y sus temas relacionados, a partir de datos cuantitativos y gráficas descriptivas. Se discuten los resultados relevantes de la escucha musical humana, las principales implicaciones de los hallazgos identificados y algunas líneas de investigación posibles en este campo.
