Conflicts of interest policy

Miradas journal and its editor are committed to a clear process in the evaluation and publication of each issue, which will seek to ensure that each process is impartial and objective. The editorial committee, evaluators and authors must declare any possible conflict of interest in the management of an editorial process due to their institutional affiliation, ethical stance, or personal, family or work relationship.

The journal adheres to the code of ethics of the Editorial UTP and the Vice Rector's Office for Research, Innovation and Extension. Likewise, the journal assumes the guidelines of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)  for the code of conduct and best practices. COPE recognizes 14 possible cases of manipulation in a manuscript and proposes guidelines that serve as advice to review such cases where misconduct may occur.

Likewise, the journal assumes the COPE proposals in relation to editorial policies in order to achieve high ethical standards in each publication.
