Abstract

En esta publicación se presentan los resultados del comportamiento de la densidad, el módulo de Young y la resistencia a la flexión, de vigas laminadas de guadua Angustifolia Kunth con secciones tipo A, B, C, D, con el objeto de apropiar tecnología para su manufactura y producir información para el modelado y simulación de vigas laminadas. La metodología seguida para el ensayo de flexión en probetas grandes es la que propone la norma alemana para madera DIN-EN 408:2003 “Timber structures - Structural timber and glued laminated timber - Determination of some physical and mechanical properties”, y que se ha aplicado para la guadua por considerarse un bambú maderable
