Para el desarrollo del control predictivo propuesto, se parte de la obtención del modelo matemático linealizado de un transformador cambiador de fase, con el fin de estudiar su respuesta en lazo abierto. Una vez realizada esta etapa se establecen los parámetros del controlador, que tiene como objetivo la restricción de parámetros y la minimización de una función objetivo, es decir, de reducir la desviación frente al comportamiento deseado del sistema en estudio. Posteriormente se implementa un esquema de control óptimo con el fin de desarrollar un análisis comparativo, para verificar la efectividad de los controladores en la respuesta de las diferentes variables del sistema y el rechazo a perturbaciones.
