Authors of an article accepted for publication will transfer all proprietary rights to the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira free of charge, subject to the following conditions: If the submitted work is approved for publication, the authors must grant the journal unlimited authorization to reproduce, edit, distribute, display, and communicate the work in any format, whether printed, electronic, databases, repositories, optical discs, the Internet, or any other required medium.
he rights holders, through the COPYRIGHT ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT, declare that all material included in the article is entirely free of third-party copyright claims and, therefore, take responsibility for any litigation or claims related to intellectual property rights, indemnifying the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira (the publishing entity) and its journal Scientia et Technica from any liability. Additionally, the authors agree that the submitted work will be distributed in open access format, protecting the copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 International License — CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
The journal Scientia et Technica is obligated to respect the moral rights of the authors, as outlined in Article 30 of Colombian Law 23 of 1982. These rights include recognition of authorship, the right to integrity, and the right to disclosure. These rights cannot be transferred or waived.
