Composición Química del Aceite Esencial de Hojas de Guazuma ulmifolia (Malvaceae)

A partir de hojas frescas de Guazuma ulmifolia (Malvaceae) recolectada en el municipio de Bituima – Cundinamarca se obtuvo el aceite esencial por la técnica de destilación por arrastre de vapor; su determinación se realizó por cromatografía de gases acoplada a espectrometría de masas (CG-EM), comparación de los índices de retención, los espectros de masas y los datos reportados en la literatura. El aceite esencial se obtuvo con un rendimiento del 0.028%; en el cual se identificaron 38 compuestos los cuales constituyen el 67.2% de la composición total, siendo el b-citronelol (12.70%) y cariofileno (11.86%) los componentes mayoritarios.
