Evaluación de los parámetros de temple y revenido para el acero AISI/SAE1045 a escala industrial

Abstract

Se realizó un experimento del tipo “mover un factor a la vez” (OFAT) para evaluar diferentes combinaciones de temperatura y tiempo en los tratamientos térmicos de temple y revenido del acero AISI-SAE 1045 a escala industrial. La evaluación se realizó con base en el análisis de la microestructura y dureza obtenidas en cada tratamiento térmico. Los resultados obtenidos sugieren que en condiciones industriales la temperatura recomendada para austenización del acero AISI/SAE1045 es 870ºC y que puede existir una relación entre la temperatura de austenización y la tetragonalidad de la mertensita obtenida al templar aceros simples al carbono.
