Abstract

En este artículo se resume el procedimiento teórico y el posterior desarrollo de un programa de computador, que permite la selección de un turbocompresor usado para incrementar la potencia de un motor convencional de aspiración atmosférica. Lo anterior se hace sin realizar cambios en la relación de compresión original del vehículo. También debe permitir el uso de mezclas de biocombustible etanol-gasolina hasta un 85%. Esta tecnología se denominó SISTEMA FLEXFUEL DE ALTA EFICIENCIA o FLEXFUEL TURBO. La selección del turbo cargador usando el programa de computo coincide con la selección teórica desarrollada, dándole validez al trabajo realizado.
