Design of a Troubleshooting Simulator for Electrical Components of Cessna 206 Aircraft

In this article the design of a troubleshooting simulator for electrical components of Cessna 206 aircraft is presented, as a didactic and academic tool for the pilot cadets and aircraft maintenance technology’s students training, in the Police Aviation School Colombia. Electrical diagrams are analyzed and some electrical failures designed such as: the starter system, alternator, taxiing and landing lights, navigation lights and flaps electrical system. It is concluded that the likelyhood of implementing the simulator, makes easier the students’ learning process, minimizing risks and contributing to aviation safety.Downloads
