El concepto del límite y su aplicación en algunas operaciones financieras

Abstract

El artículo explica cómo se aplica el concepto del límite matemático en operaciones financieras acudiendo a recursos teórico/prácticos, como son, por un lado los principios que lo definen y de otra parte, una oferta de ejemplos resueltos para ilustrar; como resultado, se puede demostrar no solo que a medida que la variable independiente varía, la variable dependiente se acerca a un valor acotado o límite; donde la variable independiente es el número de periodos (sinónimo de tiempo), mientras que la variable dependiente es el valor objetivo en cuestión (valor presente o valor futuro); también se establece que en el caso de los inversionistas, obtienen mayores beneficios de contar con una mayor composición (número de periodos).
