Strengthening IPS Service Delivery from User-Emphasis Quality Management Systems

La En la década de los noventa se da por medio de la ley 100 de 1993 una reforma del sector salud, contempló el elemento de la calidad como un factor esencial para la llamada atención integral de la salud, donde se le asegura a la población por medio de los diferentes entes del sector basándose en valores como la pluralidad que se desarrolla bajo principios de equidad, universalidad, protección integral y libre escogencia de los usuarios. Es así como la calidad es una meta para el logro de los objetivos de las organizaciones del sector para mejorar las condiciones de los usuarios de este servicio. A continuación, y con el propósito de analizar como los Sistemas de Gestión de Calidad (SGC) se alinean y contribuyen con estos objetivos, se realizará una revisión bibliográfica para compilar los aspectos más destacables al respecto. Los resultados finales dejan entrever los SGC como unos potenciadores de las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios (IPS) en el país.
