Applying the methodology NTP-ISO 9612-2010 which establishes standardized procedures to evaluate exposure to noise at work, on the other hand the WHO recommends maintaining noise around 65 dB in a work environment, the research is based on the evaluation of noise levels generated by various equipment used in the area of maestranza in a metalworking company, for the measurement stage noise measurements were made for 3 days in five areas of maestranza with 30 results which at 1 point the measurement showed that on average there was 0. For the control stage, a test of averages was performed using the values used with personal protective equipment and thus decreasing the noise level, which showed that the decrease in the point was significant, however the lack of proper management of these noise levels could lead to occupational diseases, whose long-term effects could cause an irreversible impact on the health of workers. Numerous authors have used normative calculations to gather data on occupational noise in different work areas.
