Abstract

Se diseño, construyo y puso en funcionamiento una maquina tribológica de desgaste abrasivo, según norma técnica ASTM G65, se realizaron ensayos, demostrando la confiabilidad de la maquina bajo esta norma. La maquina permitirá realizar ensayos confiables de desgaste, siendo otra herramientas para evaluar las características de los materiales y así mejorar el conocimiento de la tribología, además se podrá analizar el comportamiento de diferentes materiales, y de esta manera predecir el ciclo de vida de piezas de maquinaria que están sometidas a este tipo de desgaste, para saber cuando cambiar una pieza y ahorrar dinero y tiempo a las industrias.
