Metodología de localización de fuentes electroencefalográficas en epilepsia focal empleando el criterio de la varianza

Se estudia el problema de reconstrucción de las fuentes bioeléctricas del cerebro, a partir de sus potenciales medidos en el cuero cabelludo. La metodología empleada se basa en un modelo de fuentes distribuidas, el cual no requiere la suposición a priori del número de fuentes. Para solucionar el problema directo, se utiliza un modelo de la cabeza esférico de cuatro capas. En el problema inverso, se calcula una solución regularizada mediante el algoritmo de Tikhonov. La escogencia de la fuente que de mayor forma contribuye al potencial superficial se hace mediante el criterio de la varianza de la densidad de corriente calculada.Downloads
