Compresion de señales ecg utilizando dwt y codificacion huffman

Los algoritmos de compresión de señales se utilizan con frecuencia en sistemas de almacenamiento de la información y sistemas de comunicaciones, con el propósito de disminuir el espacio de almacenamiento en disco e incrementar el número de canales en un sistema. Este artículo presenta un algoritmo para la descomposición wavelet y la codificación Huffman enfocados en la compresión de señales ECG, desarrollado en Matlab versión R2009a. Se estima la relación de compresión a partir de la longitud de los datos de la señal ECG digitalizada y la longitud de la trama codificada y se calcula el porcentaje de distorsión de la señal comprimida.Downloads
