Abstract

En este articulo se presenta una alternativa para la reutilización de equipos de cómputo en las instituciones y centros educativos, promoviendo el uso de la tecnología de clientes livianos con el fin de aumentar la infraestructura tecnológica y de esta manera proporcionar mayor acceso a las Tecnología de la Información y Comunicación -TIC’s. Los clientes livianos son una alternativa que puede implementarse en algunas áreas de organizaciones en donde se realicen tareas de cómputo simples, utilizando equipos con la capacidad real de cómputo necesario para ello, permitiendo la disminución de los costos.
