Abstract

En este artículo, se presenta el estudio del muestreo pasabanda desde el punto de vista conceptual y de su fundamentación. Cuando se requiere muestrear una señal analógica para su posterior transmisión en forma digital, siempre se toma como base el criterio de Nyquist, el cual indica que dicho muestreo se debe realizar al doble de la frecuencia máxima contenida en la señal; criterio que para señales que están ubicadas en la parte más alta del espectro (orden de los MHz o GHz) sería poco práctico, por tanto se puede recurrir al criterio que indica que el muestreo se realice al doble del ancho de banda, condición que se pretende desarrollar en el documento.
