Abstract

El presente artículo describe el procedimiento para el diseño un sistema de enfriamiento para temple de aceros. Donde se tuvo en cuenta las variables de temperatura, agitación y tipo de medio de enfriamiento. Se determinó la confiabilidad del sistema a partir de la simulación del comportamiento del mismo, mediante el software COSMOS FloWorks, donde se considera que los resultados obtenidos están dentro de los límites permisibles de aceptación para su funcionamiento. Además se establecen los términos de referencia de los materiales para la construcción del sistema. Este trabajo busca dotar de un sistema para ensayos de temple de aceros al laboratorio de metalografía de la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira.
