Direma, semillero de investigación en diseño y reconversión de máquinas

Abstract

En este documento se presenta la experiencia vivida en el establecimiento y trabajo realizado en el primer año en el semillero de investigación en diseño y reconversión de máquinas (DIREMA) de la facultad de ingeniería mecánica de la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira (UTP). Este semillero surgió ante la ausencia de un espacio académico que permitiera a los estudiantes abordar desde los primeros semestres de su carrera temas de investigación en diseño mecánico de aplicación real al medio. Como objetivo principal DIREMA persigue posibilitar en los estudiantes de ingeniería mecánica y carreras afines un espacio de formación en investigación y desde este, mediante la realización de proyectos, preguntarse y plantear soluciones a los problemas de la industria local, regional y nacional que le son propios.
