Comparación Entre Enfoques Generativos Y Discriminativos Para La Clasificación De Eventos Sísmicos
Abstract
La clasificación de señales sísmicas es de crucial importancia para el descubrimiento de posibles interacciones entre movimientos telúricos volcánicos y procesos volcánicos per se. En este artículo se compara el desempeño de dos clasificadores que se enmarcan en metodologías diferentes de clasificación: modelos de mezcla de gaussianas, dentro de la estrategia de clasificación usando modelos generativos y máquinas de vectores de soporte, en la estrategia de clasificación que usa funciones discriminativas. Igualmente, se presentan diferentes combinaciones de estos dos clasificadores. Los resultados muestran que la estrategia basada en función discriminativa entrega porcentajes de acierto superiores.Downloads
