Monitoreo Del Estádo De Una Red Hfc Utilizando Datos Reportados Por Cable Módems
Abstract
Una red de telecomunicaciones por cable que combina la fibra óptica y el cable coaxial como soporte de la distribución de las señales es llamada Red HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial), dicha red es empleada para ofrecer servicios de Banda Ancha. Este artículo trata sobre un sistema de monitoreo en una red HFC, que permitirá estimar la ubicación de fallas en la red troncal y de distribución, mediante la recopilación de información de fallas en los terminales, instalados en los clientes llamados Cable Módems.Downloads
