Recuperación Y Soldabilidad De Piezas De Fundición De Hierro

Abstract

Las fundiciones presentan poca soldabilidad, sin embargo, bajo ciertos cuidados, estos materiales pueden ser soldados y recuperados siguiendo procedimientos rigurosos y seleccionando electrodos de baja entrada de calor para aumentar la soldabilidad. En el cordón de soldadura se debe asegurar que no cambien las propiedades mecánicas de los materiales soldados y que tampoco haya transformaciones donde se obtengan estructuras frágiles, debido al aumento de tensiones o cambio de fases en la unión soldada. Se presenta información acerca de la soldabilidad de las fundiciones de hierro y algunas recomendaciones son de utilidad a la hora de recuperar piezas de fundición por soldadura.
