Análisis de la variación de la tensión de tercer armónico en el estator de un generador síncrono

Abstract

El estudio de los generadores es importante, por su naturaleza fundamental en el sistema de potencia. En este artículo se presenta un análisis de la tensión del tercer armónico ante variaciones de la capacitancia de los equipos conectados en terminales del generador y ante fallas a tierra, debido que este armónico es utilizado para la protección del 100% del devanado del estator ante fallas a tierra. Como resultado se presenta la región de variación del tercer armónico para un generador prototipo, que permite tomar decisiones sobre donde medir y que estrategia de protección es la más adecuada.
