Abstract

En esta oportunidad se muestra la aplicación del modelo de periodo de tiempo fijo, asociando un nivel de servicio determinado. Este trabajo exigió la realización de un análisis detallado de los inventarios de demanda independiente en la empresa objeto de estudio, que contempló varios periodos, con el propósito de evaluar la forma de reducir el nivel de inventarios manteniendo un excelente nivel de servicio a los usuarios. Luego, se hace la simulación y se analizan los resultados. Al final, los lectores pueden apreciar las conclusiones de esta aplicación.
