INVESTIGACIÓN EN EL ÁREA DE LA METROLOGÍA PRESENTACIÓN DE UN PROYECTO EXITOSO

Abstract

Con base en un proyecto cofinanciado por COLCIENCIAS y presentado al programa nacional de electrónica, telecomunicaciones e informática, el grupo de electrofisiología (categoría A – COLCIENCIAS) de la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, logró “acreditar” como laboratorio de calibración de equipos de medidas eléctricas al “Laboratorio de metrología de variables eléctricas”. En Colombia en la actualidad existen solamente dos laboratorios de metrología “acreditados” en esta área, lo cual amerita mucho más esta acreditación; este hecho se convierte en un elemento de servicio al desarrollo de la empresa regional y nacional por parte de la UTP. Mediante este trabajo se presenta la experiencia obtenida alrededor de este proyecto, el cual ha generado en nuestro grupo nuevas expectativas en el campo de la metrología, en áreas como la de la metrología electromagnética y la de calibración de equipo electromédico para la cual COLCIENCIAS aprobó al grupo otro proyecto actualmente vigente; áreas para las cuales no existen laboratorios “acreditados” en Colombia.
