Análogos de quinonas naturales con actividad antibacteriana
Abstract
El espectro de actividad y la concentración crítica antibacteriana de 4 compuestos del tipo 1,4-naftoquinonas semisintéticas obtenidas en los laboratorios del grupo de productos naturales de la Universidad de Cartagena, fueron evaluados mediante los métodos de Mitscher, Bauer Kirby y B-K modificado frente a 11 cepas bacterianas. Los resultados mostraron a los compuestos 2-acetoxi-2,3-dihidro-nafto- 2,3-b - furan-4,9-diona; 2-hidroxi-1,4-naftoquinona; y 2-acetoxi-2,3-dihidro-nafto- 1,2- b -furan-4,5-diona como inhibidores del crecimiento bacteriano de S. aureus (ATCC 25923 y AC 1644), K. pneumoniae (AC 1648 y 1478), E. coli (ATCC 25922 y AC 1015) and S. aureus (ATCC 25923), mientras que la 1,4-naftoquinona fue activa frente a las 11 cepas estudiadas. La actividad presentó valores entre 500 y 31.25 μg/disco, bajo las condiciones del ensayo. Los sustituyentes en posiciones 2 y 3 del compuesto base 1,4-naftoquinona, así como la naturaleza química del mismo son importantes en la determinación del espectro de actividad y la potencia de estos compuestosDownloads
