Abstract

En respuesta a la inminente necesidad de impulsar el sector industrial del Área Metropolitana Centro Occidente - AMCO, conformada por Pereira, Dosquebradas y la Virginia, se vio la necesidad de acompañar su gestión desde la academia sin desconocer la responsabilidad y el apoyo que desde el estado se debe brindar. Uno de los subsectores representativos es la Fabricación de productos metálicos para uso estructural (CIIU 2811), donde se realizó una investigación aplicando instrumentos al 93% de las empresas, luego de analizar y consolidar resultados se estructuró la propuesta de Integración Estado – Academia – Empresa, como eje de crecimiento y fortalecimiento.
