Abstract

Se presentan en este artículo los aspectos fundamentales que justifican y que se deben tener en cuenta para la implementación de un laboratorio en la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira que sea acreditado por la SIC (Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio) que permita colaborar con las entidades prestadoras del servicio de salud en sus procesos de certificación, en lo que corresponde a su capacidad tecnológica relacionada con la trazabilidad de su equipo biomédico y su seguridad eléctrica. COLCIENCIAS aprobó en diciembre de 2004 para el Grupo de Electrofisiología de la UTP a través de su Programa Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología de la Salud la cofinanciación de un proyecto con el titulo de este artículo, por un valor de $ 520´545.593.oo el cual pretende implementar el primer laboratorio acreditado en el país que preste este servicio
