Abstract

Este artículo está dentro del campo de la calidad de energía eléctrica, y específicamente trata sobre la caracterización de huecos de tensión, basada en la extracción de descriptores cualitativos y cuantitativos. La caracterización aquí discutida, es útil para la clasificación de los huecos de tensión y su asociación con la posible localización del fenómeno que los originó. Los resultados obtenidos serán útiles para mantener en valores adecuados a los índices que miden el tiempo de interrupción del servicio de energía eléctrica. El principal aporte está asociado con la respuesta rápida para localizar el sitio de falla, así como en la identificación de secciones del sistema que son potencialmente propensas a fallar.
