DETERMINACIÓN DEL PERIODO DE CALENTAMIENTO EN SIMULACIONES DE ESTADO ESTABLE

Este artículo muestra la forma cómo se puede determinar el tiempo que una simulación requiere para alcanzar un estado estable y cómo este tiempo está relacionado con los tiempos y cantidad de actividades que ocurren en el sistema. Este tiempo se denomina periodo de calentamiento. Existen modelos que alcanzan el estado estable en pocas horas, mientras que otros necesitan más tiempo. Conocer el tiempo de calentamiento en varias replicaciones facilita el inicio de recolección de información estadística de las variables de respuesta y elimina el sesgo ocasionado por observaciones consideradas en el estado transitorio del modelo.Downloads
