Abstract

Job requirements have evolved, asking for changes in required professional and personal competencies. These changes affect attitudinal, operative, strategic and organizational aspects. In this paper we analyze the role developed by young university graduates in the organizations where they work. For this purpose a sample of young university graduates in Europe and Latin America are analyzed. The results show the existence of different economic and socio-cultural environment and how young graduates adapt its activity to these environments.

Angela Maria Grisales del Rio, Universitat Politècnica de València - España

Tecnóloga Química e Ingeniera Industrial, con experiencia en empresas industriales, educativas y de consultoría. Ha participado en proyectos europeos relacionados con el seguimiento de egresados universitarios. Actualmente reside en Valencia España y está finalizando los estudios de Doctorado en la Universitat Politècnica de València.

Andrés Carrión García, Universitat Politècnica de València - España

Doctor Ingeniero Industrial. Profesor Titular de la Universitat Politècnica de València, en el departamento de Estadística e Investigación operativa Aplicadas y Calidad. Director del Centro de Gestión de la Calidad y del Cambio en la UPV. 

José-Ginés Mora, Institute of Education, University of London

José-Ginés Mora es Visiting Professor en el Institute of Education, University of London.
Previamente fue director del Centro de Estudios en Gestión de la Educación Superior en
la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Es Licenciado en Física y Doctor en Economía y
está especializado en el análisis de la Educación Superior (economía y financiación de la
educación superior, evaluación de la calidad, políticas universitarias, gestión de las
instituciones y mercado laboral de los graduados universitarios).
