Abstract

El presente artículo trata sobre la descripción de los modelos actuales de gestión gerencial en las grandes empresas industriales de Pereira y Dosquebradas en el contexto actual de la economía, periodo 2013- 2014.

 

Para darle un contexto actual y real a la investigación, se partió de un marco que resume los modelos más comúnmente utilizados por las compañías, entre otros: planeación estratégica, calidad total, Kaizen, justo a tiempo, outsourcing, etc. También se toman en cuenta las primeras escuelas de administración, la importancia del estudio de tiempos de Taylor, que partió de lo particular a lo general en el tema administrativo, al contrario de Fayol, que definió  lo general hacia lo particular, con su división del trabajo, unidad de mando y todo el tema organizacional.  Luego se toma un breve contexto económico nacional y por último un análisis de la región Pereira y Dosquebradas.
