Editorial Time Policy

The journal Scientia et Technica follows an editorial process guided by principles of scientific quality, transparency, editorial ethics, and international best practices in scholarly publishing (COPE).

The timelines described here are estimates. They may vary depending on the number of manuscripts received, the availability of peer reviewers, the complexity of the subject matter, and the authors' timely fulfillment of editorial requirements.

Summary of Timelines by Editorial Stage

The following table summarizes all stages of the process, the responsible parties, and the estimated deadlines.

Evaluation Concepts and Decisions

Once the peer review process is complete, the Editor and the Editorial Committee will issue one of the following decisions:

Corrections Process

Minor Corrections — Deadline: 15 calendar days

Authors must submit the revised version along with a response letter to the reviewers detailing each correction made.

Major Corrections — Deadline: 30 calendar days

These involve a substantial revision of the manuscript. Authors must submit the revised version along with a detailed response letter. The manuscript may be returned for a new round of review.

Failure to Meet Deadlines:

If authors do not address the feedback within the deadlines explicitly established by the Editor:

The manuscript may be archived or postponed.

After 60 calendar days without a response: definitive withdrawal.
