Desarrollo del componente de hardware de un dispositivo de telemonitoreo inalámbrico de eventos cardiacos

El desarrollo de dispositivos que permitan monitorear la actividad eléctrica del corazón mientras el paciente realiza sus actividades cotidianas es una necesidad creciente a nivel mundial. Este trabajo reporta el desarrollo del componente de hardware dentro del proyecto “Sistema de Tele-Monitoreo Inalámbrico de Eventos Cardiacos WHAM (Wireless Heart Arrhythmia Monitoring)” liderado por el Grupo de Dinámica Cardiovascular de la Universidad Pontifica Bolivariana. Como resultado de este trabajo se obtuvo un primer prototipo funcional con la capacidad de almacenar eventos cardiacos en una memoria flash tipo SD y transmitirlos inalámbricamente a un servidor de monitoreo por medio de un modem GSM-GPRS.Downloads
