Evaluación del efecto de sulfatos y cloruros sobre estructuras de mampostería en cerámica roja

Abstract

En este trabajo se realizaron ensayos acelerados de inmersión alterna, con concentraciones de cloruros y sulfatos típicas de las atmósferas rural, urbana y marino-industrial. Bajo estas condiciones se evaluaron muretes protegidos con hidrófugos comerciales. A lo largo de seis meses de exposición se realizaron medidas de potencial de circuito abierto. Además se realizaron pruebas de resistencia mecánica, análisis de microscopia óptica, SEM/EDS, DRX, FTIR, y espectroscopia Mössbauer; una vez finalizado el ensayo. Se encontró deterioro estético causado por microorganismos biológicos. El material del ladrillo presentó muy baja reactividad frente a los agentes contaminantes
