Diseño y analisis por el método de elementos finitos y tomografia computarizada de una protesis transtibial
Abstract
La situación del país relacionada con la acción de las minas antipersona ha dejado muchas victimas que aunque han recibido ayuda por parte del gobierno se requiere de equipos e instrumentos que con un bajo costo minimicen el impacto generado en ellos debido a la perdida de algún miembro. El desarrollo de prótesis transtibial ha hecho posible que estas personas vuelvan a desempeñarse en sus actividades, pero es necesario el desarrollo de sistemas mecánicos que permitan con bajo costo generar soluciones a esta problemática. Este trabajo describe el diseño de una prótesis transtibial de miembro inferior partiendo de un análisis por tomografía computarizada de las condiciones del paciente y validando el diseño por el método de análisis por elementos finitos, permitiendo así describir el comportamiento mecánico de sus componentes y determinar las cargas máximas a las cuales el modelo puede ser estudiado. Esto con el fin de generar soluciones a los sistemas que actualmente existen y que por su alta tecnología son muy costosos para la personas de bajos recursos que requieren de ellas.Downloads
