Beneficio de una magnetita para produccion de pelets utilizados en procesos de reduccion directa
Abstract
Se pretende caracterizar y concentrar un mineral de magnetita para producción de pelets vía RD -horno rotatorio para lo cual se diseñó y construyó un concentrador magnético. El mineral concentrado fue caracterizado química y físicamente, se aglomeró, obteniéndose pelets en tamaños normalizados. Estos fueron hematizados, debido a que la magnetita por ser poco permeable a procesos de reducción necesita de dicha transformación. Luego se sometieron a un proceso de reducción directa en el Horno Linder obteniendo un prerreducido de hierro que tiene un grado de metalización aceptable teniendo en cuenta las condiciones iniciales del mineral.Downloads
