Estudio experimental del efecto termomecanico de las transformaciones de fase en las aleaciones ni-ti “nitinol”
Abstract
El Nitinol es una de las aleaciones con mayor aplicación en el campo medico por su memoria de forma y superelasticidad. Bajo tensión uniaxial se evaluó el comportamiento superelástico de microtubos de una aleación de Ni-Ti a 23 °C y 37 °C. Se establecieron los factores que pueden afectar su superelasticidad, encontrándose que la presencia de pequeños precipitados de Ti-Ni (Ti3Ni4) puede ocasionar deformación residual, impidiendo la transformación reversible total de la martensita durante el demaclado. Este comportamiento también afectara su resistencia a la fatiga. Adicionalmente, se comprobó mediante calorimetría diferencial la presencia de una fase R en esta aleación.Downloads
