Abstract

Este artículo pretende1 exponer una parte del resultado de investigación en la elaboración de un modelo geométrico de proporción que permite desarrollar un tipo de equilibrio visual y constructivo entre las partes que componen a un todo diseñado en los objetos, productos industriales, relaciones antropométricas y estructuras en general. El proyecto pertenece a la línea de investigación en objetos y sistemas industriales del grupo de investigación Diseño and Complejidad de la Universidad Autónoma de Manizales y se basa en la existencia de principios geométricos que son importantes para determinar las condiciones de equilibrio, donde los conceptos básicos de escala, simetría y proporción, permiten el ordenamiento que conjuga la triada forma, función, estructura.
