Efecto de la contaminación con hidrocarburo sobre la eficiencia de un sistema de inhibición
Abstract
En este trabajo se evalúa un sistema de inhibición de una torre enfriadora y su comportamiento ante la presencia de un hidrocarburo como agente contaminante. Este sistema de inhibición se evaluó bajo condiciones hidrodinámicas, simulando condiciones similares a las de campo mediante el loop y el Electrodo de Cilindro Rotatorio (ECR). La velocidad de corrosión del acero AISI-SAE 1020 y admiralty fue obtenida por medio de pruebas electroquímicas (corrater, resistencia a la polarización, polarización Tafel) y pruebas gravimétricas para los diferentes ensayos (agua sin inhibidor, agua con inhibidor y contaminaciones con hidrocarburo), los resultados mostraron que el hidrocarburo puede ayudar a la protección del metal.Downloads
