Abstract

El presente documento tiene como objetivo plantear una propuesta para minimizar la deserción y el rezago Universitario por esta causa, enfocándose en el primer año de estudios. La propuesta se justifica principalmente por la baja edad de ingreso de nuestros estudiantes y el alto índice de mortalidad académica en algunas asignaturas durante el primer año de carrera. La propuesta se basa en la creación de laboratorios de práctica para las asignaturas de estos altos índices para el primer año y en donde se desarrollará en forma intensiva un trabajo basado en ejercicios, ensayos, e investigaciones sobre los temas impartidos en las asignaturas que generaron los laboratorios de práctica.
