Obtención de alcohol furfurílico a partir de furfural sobre catalizadores de platino soportado
Abstract
Se estudió la hidrogenación del furfural sobre catalizadores Pt/TiO2, Pt/Nb2O5, Pt/SiO2 y Pt/Al2O3. Los productos se analizaron por Cromatografía de Gases – Espectrometría de Masas. Catalizadores Pt/TiO2, Pt/SiO2 y Pt/Nb2O5 presentaron alta selectividad al alcohol furfurílico, Pt/Al2O3 mostró alta selectividad al 2- furaldehído dietilacetal, producto secundario, debido a la acidez del soporte (γ- alumina) y el solvente etanol. Se obtuvo alta conversión con Pt/TiO2 y mejor comportamiento en catalizadores reducidos a alta temperatura (HTR). Pero Pt/Al2O3, reducido a baja temperatura (LTR) mostró altos valores de conversión, porque la reacción es gobernada por acidez del soporte y no por la reacción de reducción.Downloads
